Since 2007 East-Siberian state technological university has realized the joint international project with Chanchun Institute of international commerce (People's Republic of China) on preparation of bachelors in "Economy".

Now in East-Siberian state technological university more than hundred students from China study within the framework of the given project. On May, 26 in the cultural centre of East-Siberian state technological university the first Chinese graduates of this project will be handed solemnly with the Russian diplomas of bachelors. The first one hundred fifty participants of this project arrived to Buryatia for study two years ago. The Chinese students were trained in East-Siberian state technological university at nine faculties of the Institute of economy and law in "2+2" training format. That is two years they studied in China and two years in Buryatia. Also Technological University carries out the program in "3+1" format, that is three years they study in Chanchun and one year in Russia. The teachers of East-Siberian state technological university regularly leave to Chinese institute of international commerce. Here they study Chinese students all basic general professional disciplines in Russian. Before they begin, Chinese students learn Russian language as intensive course and by the end of study they speak almost perfect. The state diploma of graduating from East-Siberian state technological university give the right to Chinese specialists work both in Russia and in China.
